A lot of the good players do not like the expression " good luck", because they do not want to loose thru the luck factor.
On Tour they used the term " Bowl good"

And we've been at a bowling tournament in Las Vegas (my boyfriend has participated). The only thing the other bowlers said was "Good luck". You should remember that "Gut Holz!" comes from 9-pin-bowling and is a phrase which hasn't been adapted by the Americans. |
